EDGE Expands European Footprint with 12 New Tier-IV POPs

EDGE Global Operations today announced the activation of 12 new Tier-IV Point-of-Presence (POP) facilities across key European interconnection hubs, including Frankfurt (FRK-02), Amsterdam (AMS-04), London (LDN-06), and Thessaloniki (SKG-01).

The expansion increases total European ingress bandwidth by 4.8 Tbps while extending EDGE’s zero-allocation WebAssembly runtime layer closer to enterprise financial services and real-time gaming clusters.

Key Milestones Achieved

  • Sub-1ms Latency Mesh: Inter-node routing across Central & Southern Europe measured at 0.84ms median TTFB.
  • Hardware Attestation: Direct TPM 2.0 and SGX enclave hardware verification enabled by default on all 12 POP nodes.
  • 100% Renewable Energy: Powered entirely through certified green energy purchase agreements.

“Expanding our European backbone ensures that enterprise applications deployed on EDGE achieve zero-compromise latency alongside sovereign data compliance.” — Elena Rodriguez, CTO

Immediate Availability

All existing enterprise tenants can immediately route workloads to the new POP nodes via their global dashboard routing policies or automated DNS geo-steering rules.
